However,Valenza’s gold was not hidden underground, nor in the riverbanks, but it was in the hands of men. One such man, Vincenzo Morosetti, cherished his return to his hometown. After a period as an emigrant in America, where he learned the goldsmith’s craft, Vincenzo opened a small workshop in Valenza in 1843at just thirty years old aprì a Valenza un piccolo laboratorio.
